The Board may rise and go into a private In Camera session, in accordance with Section 51 of the Nova Scotia Police Act and section 19 of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter, for the purpose of dealing with the following:

11.1 Personnel Matter

A matter pertaining to a personnel matter about an identifiable individual/individuals or body with whom the municipality has a direct interest, information whose disclosure could reasonably be expected to prejudice the interests of the municipality or contain private personnel information which is protected under policy or law.

Motion:

That the Board of Police Commissioners convene to In Camera (In Private) to discuss a personnel matter.

11.2 Legal Advice

A matter pertaining to legal advice eligible for solicitor-client privilege.

11.2.1 Roles and Responsibilities in Police Service

Motion:

That the Board of Police Commissioners convene to In Camera to discuss legal advice.
