Barrington, Cornwallis traffic disruption as crews investigate roadway

 

Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 (Halifax, NS) – HRM wishes to advise that due to ongoing examination of the roadway in the vicinity of Barrington Street and Cornwallis Street portions of the streets are closed until further notice.

A sinkhole was repaired in the area yesterday. Ongoing work to examine the roadway means southbound traffic on Barrington Street will be reduced to one lane and the traffic westbound on Cornwallis is being rerouted.

Updates will be provided when more information becomes available.
