Wednesday, May 30, 2012 – HRM SmartTrip and Clean Nova Scotia invite you and your workplace to take part in the 2012 Commuter Challenge during Environment Week, June 3-9. Join the over 900 Canadian workplaces that have registered for the 2012 National Commuter Challenge.

From walking, biking, public transit or carpooling, the goal is to think about a healthy alternative to driving your vehicle to work. Throughout the week participants log their healthy commute and can measure calories burned, track the number of saved kilometres and fuel costs or calculate reduced emissions.
