Victoria Day Solid Waste Collection Notice

Wednesday, May 16, 2012 - Residents of HRM are reminded that regular municipal solid waste collection services will be provided on Victoria Day, Monday, May 21. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Victoria Day, Monday, May 21 will occur as usual.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant at 20 Horseshoe Lake Drive will be open on Victoria Day, Monday, May 21 with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be open on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
