Local Cyclist Tells of European Conference
(Tuesday, September 5/2000)-- Local cyclist Rebecca O'Brien will make a presentation tomorrow evening on her recent attendance at the World Biking Conference- "Velo Mondaile" - in Amsterdam.
The presentation is being sponsored by the Halifax Regional Municipality's Bikeways Task Force; the Atlantic Health Promotion Research Center; the Heart and Stroke Association of Nova Scotia; and the Halifax Regional Library.
The presentation by Ms. O'Brien, who is a member of the HRM Bikeways Task Force, is open to the public.
