Public Housing Responsibility of N.S. Government
(August 10/2001) -- An article entitled "City Defends Mulgrave Park Maintenance," which was published in today's edition of The Daily News, may have left the impression with readers that the Halifax Regional Municipality is responsible for public housing/maintenance within this region.
In fact, public housing is the responsibility of the Government of Nova Scotia ( through its Department of Community Services) and administered through the Metropolitan Regional Housing Authority.
