ALL HRM INQUIRIES TO GO THROUGH CALL CENTRE
(Thursday, March 6/2003)-- In its continuing effort to provide improved customer service to residents, Halifax Regional Municipality is introducing a new gateway telephone number for all municipal services.
Simply by dialing 490-4000, caller inquiries will be dealt with directly by HRM Call Centre agents, or in some cases, further directed to a contact person in a specific business unit for more detailed information.
Call Centre service is available 7:30 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week.
NOTE: The following telephone numbers will be disconnected in mid-April 2003 and replaced with
490-4000 gateway line.
490-6600 (Transit general information line)
490-1998 (Organics recycling/old mini-bin stickers)
490-4141 (Tax information line)
490-5160 (Parking ticket information line)
490-5640 (By-law information)
