HRM Offers New Payment Methods to Customers
(Thursday, May 22/2003)-- Halifax Regional Municipality is changing the way it does business-- offering new, more convenient service delivery systems to its customers.
HRM's service delivery channels have been expanding since amalgamation, and the latest
improvement offers online and direct telephone service payment of parking tickets.
Mayor Peter Kelly and representatives of Aliant Inc., HRM's partner in the service transformation, will demonstrate the new convenient payment method next week at City Hall, using a computer and a cellular phone.
