(Friday, October 3, 2003-10 a.m.)--Metro Area residents have responded very generously to the "Milk for Mums" campaign to collect milk to distribute to children in need. HRM Councillor Dawn Sloane reports that 2047 litres of milk, 72 cases of baby formula and $2000 in cash have been collected to date. Trucks will be in the Uniacke Square and Mulgrave Park area this morning with Councillor Dawn Sloane to distribute the milk.
