Deadline looming for Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to a Museum or Archives

(Thursday, April 7, 2005) - Nomination forms are available for the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to a Museum or Archives until the end of this week.

This award features a monetary prize of $500.00 , as well as, a framed certificate of achievement. The recipient will be announced on May 18th, 2005, International Museum Day. This year’s theme is ‘‘Museums Bridging Culture”.

Deadline for nomination submissions:
Friday, April 15th, 2005 at 12 noon.
