Fire Ban Includes All Outdoor Wood-Burners, Chimneas

(Wednesday, August 10/05)-- Now that the province-wide ban on all open fires is in effect, residents of Halifax Regional Municipality are reminded that use of outdoor wood-burning appliances (including chimneas) are not permitted under By-Law 105.

The by-law states that open fires and use of all outdoor wood-burning appliances are not permitted during times when an official fire ban is in effect.
