District 2 School Board Election to be held on June 3, 2006

(Tuesday, May 16/06)-- Preparations are well underway for the special election in District 2 of the Halifax Regional School Board, to be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006.

District 2 of the HRSB is comprised of the Halifax Regional Municipality’s Polling District 2-- Waverley, Fall River, Beaver Bank, and District 21- Bedford.

Polling Stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day and are located at:

George P. Vanier Junior High School
1410 Fall River Road, Fall River

Harold T. Barrett Junior High School
862 Beaver Bank Road, Beaver Bank

Scotia Nursing Home
125 Knowles Crescent, Beaver Bank

Bedford Junior High School
132 Rocky Lake Road, Bedford

Advance Polls will be held on Saturday, May 27th and Tuesday, May 30th,, between the hours of noon and 8 p.m., and the locations listed above.
