Public Gardens Closes for the Season

(Thursday, November 9/06)-- The Halifax Public Gardens will close for the fall/winter season at dusk on Sunday, November 12th this year.

(Note: Date for re-opening in the spring depends on the weather. If it's a dry spring, the Gardens could be re-opened as early as May 1. However, if it's a really wet spring and the walkways haven't dried out, there is the potential for damage if visitors avoid the gravel paths and walk on the grass.)
