Holiday Collection Notice

(Thursday, December 21/06) - Residents of Halifax Regional Municipality are advised that there will be no refuse, organics or recyclables collection services on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2006. Collection services for that day will be provided on the preceding Saturday, December 23, 2006.

Regular municipal collection services will be provided on Boxing Day, December 26, 2006.

There will be no refuse, organics or recyclables collection services on New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2007. Collection services for that day will be provided on the preceding Saturday, December 30, 2006.

The HRM’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be Closed Saturday, December 23rd and Saturday, December 30th, but will be Open on Saturday, January 6th, 2007 from 9 am to 4 pm.
