Skating Party Set for Frog Pond

(Friday, February 16/07)-- Councillors Linda Mosher and Stephen Adams issued an invitation today for area residents to attend HRM’s Take the Roof Off Winter outdoor skating party at the Frog Pond, on the Purcell’s Cove Road, on Saturday afternoon.

Hot chocolate will be served and there will be cartoon characters on hand to entertain the young people.

Residents are urged to bring their skates, dress warmly and be prepared to have a lot of fun.

When:   Saturday, February 17, 2007

Time:     1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where: The Frog Pond, Purcell’s Cove Road.
