HRM to Host 4th Annual Recycling Facility Open House

(Wednesday, June 4/08) - HRM Solid Waste Resources and Miller Waste are pleased to invite you to an Open House at the Materials Recycling Facility in celebration of Environment Week.

When:   Saturday, June 7, 2008

Time:     1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Where:  Materials Recycling Facility, 50 Chain Lake Drive, Bayers Lake Business Park

Please join us to see how blue bag and paper recyclables are handled at the facility, and learn how material can be recycled into new products. Refreshments will be available.

The Recycling Facility is just one component of HRM's internationally recognized and award-winning solid waste resource management system. The goal of Environment Week (June 1-7) is to increase awareness about each person's role in protecting the environment and the significance of individual actions, big or small.
