The Judges are Coming to Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia!

(Monday, July 14, 2008) - TheHalifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia is participating in the Communities in Bloom National Edition, population category over 300,001 with Edmonton AB, Mississauga ON and London ON.


The Communities in Bloom judges Bob Lewis from Ottawa, Ontario and Dave Hilton from Kamloops, British Columbia will evaluate the Halifax Regional Municipality July 17th and July 18th 2008.

Communities in Bloom is a Canadian non-profit organization committed to fostering civic pride, environmental responsibility, beautification and to improving quality of life through community participation and a national challenge.

The results will be announced at the National Awards Ceremonies, hosted this year by the City of Lethbridge, Alberta on September 19 & 20, 2008.
