Black Rock Beach Party and Supervised Beach Reopening

(Wednesday, July 30/08)-- His Worship Mayor Peter J. Kelly and Councillor Sue Uteck, District 13 Northwest Arm - South End, will be hosting the 1st Annual Black Rock Beach Party. Mayor Kelly and Councillor Uteck invite everyone down for a great beach party, barbecue, refreshments, ice cream, live music, kids games, prizes and a swim at beautiful Black Rock beach.
Bring your sun screen, hat, beach towel & chair and join in the fun.
Lifeguards will be on duty.

When:  Saturday, August 2, 2008

Time:    11:00AM - 1:00PM

Where: Black Rock Beach, Point Pleasant Park, Halifax.

Please note: The party will take place rain or shine.
Dogs are prohibited on Sailors Memorial Way (Shore Road), where indicated, from 10 a.m. to closing.
