Natal Day Collection Notice

(Wednesday, July 30/08) - Residents of HRM are advised that there will be no regular municipal collection services provided on Natal Day, Monday, August 4, 2008. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Natal Day, Monday, August 4th will occur the preceding Saturday, August 2nd.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant will be closed on Natal Day, Monday, August 4th but will be open on Saturday, August 2nd with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality's residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Saturday, August 2nd but will be open Saturday, August 9th and 16th from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m.
