Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency Services Complete Investigation
of Fire at 29 Glenda Cresent

(Thursday, March 26, 2009) The investigation of Wednesday’s fire at 29 Glenda Crescent in Halifax by Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency Services is now complete.

The fire originated above ceiling level in the rear bedroom of the mobile home.
This was an accidental fire caused by an electrical short in the ceiling space. Tragically, there was one fatality in the fire. This was HRM’s first fire fatality of 2009.
