Natal Day Collection Notice

(Wednesday, July 29/09) - Residents of HRM are advised that there will be no regular municipal collection services provided on Natal Day, Monday, August 3, 2009. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Natal Day, Monday, August 3rd will occur the preceding Saturday, August 1st.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant will be closed on Natal Day, Monday, August 3rd but will be open on Saturday, August 1st with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Saturday, August 1st but will be open Saturday, August 8th and 15th from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m.
