Labour Day Collection Notice

(Thursday, September 3, 2009) B HRM would like to advise residents there will be no regular municipal collection services provided on Labour Day, Monday, September 7, 2009. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Labour Day, Monday, September 7th will occur the preceding Saturday, September 5th.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant will be closed on Labour Day, Monday, September 7th but will be open on Saturday, September 5th with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Saturday, September 5th but will be open Saturday, September 12th from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m.
