Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency - Shannon Park Exercise

(Monday, October 5, 2009) - HALIFAX - Starting Monday, October 5, up to and including October 31, 2009 Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency will be participating in training exercises in Shannon Park, Dartmouth.

The exercises will take place between 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Shannon Park area of Dartmouth.

Area residents are advised they may see artificial smoke and emergency vehicles with lights and sirens during this training exercise. These are a series of controlled exercises and are not an actual emergency. Residents are asked to stay clear of the training area during this time-frame. Any inconvenience to residents is regretted.
