Update - Windsor and Young Streets-Water Main Break Repairs

(Wednesday, January 19, 2011) - Halifax Water crews are currently on-site repairing a water main break at the corner of Windsor St & Young St.

Customers in the area of 6407 - 6577 Bayers Rd, approximately 25 residences, are currently experiencing reduced water pressure. Affected customers are currently being notified. Water flows will be shutdown once all affected customers have been contacted.

Details as to the duration of the shutdown and repair have yet to be determined.

There is no disruption to traffic as a result of the water main break.

Halifax Water apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this water main break.
