Organizers to Announce Highlights of Hopscotch Festival 2011

August 16, 2011 - Hopscotch, back for its second year, is Halifax Regional Municipality’s premiere hip-hop and urban art festival. Organizers and participants will announce the free concert’s headliners and details of the DJ Olympics, Bboy competition and opening day at a press conference this Thursday, August 18th.

Time:      10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Where:   The Halifax Common, Pavilion grounds (inside Pavilion in event of rain)

Hopscotch brings urban art, dance and music together in an exciting, multi-faceted event. A celebration of hip-hop culture, Hopscotch was created to engage youth and the vibrant urban community to foster self-expression and positive influences.
