Rescheduled: Stratford Way Park Community Art Project Installation

(Monday, October 3, 2011) - The installation of the community art project for Stratford Way Park has been rescheduled for this Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Artist Julie Adamson Miller has been working with the community to create a large pebble stone mosaic for the newly-redeveloped park, located off Lacewood Drive, Clayton Park (near the Keshen Goodman Library). Last week Miller has hosted a series of free community art workshops at the Canada Games Centre, 26 Thomas Raddall Drive, Halifax.

The Stratford Way Park Community Art Project is supported by HRM and a community arts grant from the 4Cs Foundation (www.4csfoundation.com).
