Lane closure – Barrington Street between Prince Street and George Street 

Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Barrington Street between Prince Street and George Street will be reduced to one lane on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 to accommodate repair work to a building’s leaking sprinkler line.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to use alternate routes. Pedestrians should expect the sidewalk on the east side of the block to be closed to through foot traffic as the excavation will impact the sidewalk, but access to businesses will be maintained on other side of the trench.

HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
