Natural Gas Pipeline Installation – Chebucto Road

Friday, November 8, 2013 – As part of the natural gas pipeline installation on Chebucto Road, excavation of the road between Mumford Road and the Sherwood Street will take place in the overnight hours tonight starting at 8 p.m. through Saturday morning.

During the majority of the work, one lane in each direction will be open to traffic. Stop and go traffic will only be required where the pipe crossed Chebucto Road. Motorists can expect that areas affected by the excavation will have to be temporarily paved. The area will be reinstated permanently once entire pipe installation is complete.

Heritage Gas and HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
