Natural Gas Pipeline Reinstatement – Pleasant Street

Wednesday, June 12, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Today the final stage of street reinstatement will take place on Pleasant Street from the Imperial Oil Refinery Entrance to Highway 111. Crews will be planeing one inch (25mm) of pavement surface in preparation for a final lift of asphalt over the natural gas line trench. The work will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

There will be no work on Pleasant street during peak hours of 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Motorists should expect delays and are requested to find alternate routes where possible. Heritage Gas and HRM apologize for any inconvenience.
