“To initiate the process to develop a by-law prohibiting the littering of streets, alleys, sidewalks, parks, lakes, lake shores, city-owned land or public places; in so doing that the former City of Dartmouth By-Law 400 be reviewed and implemented in a new by-law, if feasible; that the by-law include a provision for a substantial summary offence ticket to be issued to persons violating the proposed littering by-law; and that a program be initiated to encourage citizens’ participation in cleaning up our communities.”

To amend By-Law N-200, Respecting Noise, to increase
the summary offence ticket from $125.00 to $300.00.”
