PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Renewal of Point Pleasant Park begins with Public Consultation

(Tuesday, January 25, 2005) - Members of the public can help plan the future of Point Pleasant Park by taking part in public consultations on the 29th and 31st of January.

There will be an open house on Saturday, January 29, 2005 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Shakespeare by the Sea building, Lower Parking Lot, Point Pleasant Park.

A Public Workshop will be held on Monday, January 31, 2005 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Courtside Lounge, Saint Mary’s Tower, on Tower Road.

Members of the public are also encouraged to complete and return a questionnaire which will be available at HRM Customer Service Centres, on the HRM website http://www.halifax.ca/real_property/pointpleasant/index.html, and will be available at both meetings.
