Capital District Urban Design Awards

(Friday, January 28, 2005) - The Halifax Regional Municipality is pleased, once again, to invite you to participate in the Second Annual Capital District Urban Design Awards program. The purpose of the Awards is to acknowledge and promote quality design initiatives created by property and business owners, architects, landscape architects, artists and designers which help to facilitate improvements in the Municipality’s urban core.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday March 30, 2005 at 4:00 PM. Application and nomination forms are available at the Capital District offices located on the second floor of the Halifax Ferry Terminal or by calling 490-5330. You may also visit www.halifax.ca/capitaldistrict for online forms. Interested candidates are asked to register their intent to participate by March 14. Submissions will be on display at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia between April 4 and 28, with the awards ceremony taking place on Thursday April 28 at 5:30 PM.
