Major Downtown Snow Clearing Continues

(Tuesday, February 1/05)-- HRM Public Works crews will continue major overnight snow clearing operations again in downtown Halifax this evening and overnight.

Operations will be in effect from 8 p.m. this evening until 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Major streets affected include Grafton, Granville, Hollis and both Upper and Lower Water Streets.

Although the streets will not be closed to traffic, motorists are advised to secure off-street parking during that time period. As well, the Winter Overnight Parking ban remains in effect.
