BEECHVILLE ISSUE

(Thursday, February 17, DATE) - In a report entitled "Pastor: church too poor to fight" on page 3 of The Daily News today, it states that Rev. Clarence Armstrong, of the Beechville United Baptist Church, "believes that city expropriated the land from the church, then sold it to the developer."

For the record, HRM has never owned any of the land in question, never expropriated said lands from anyone, and the current controversy over the land is a dispute between two private landowners.
