Councillor Snow sponsors District 2 Seniors Tax Day

(Thursday, March 3, 2005) A special Seniors Tax /Rebate Day will be held in Fall River this Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 10 AM- 1 PM at the Fall River Friendly Group Seniors Home located at #1018 Fall River Road, Fall River.

District 2 Councillor Krista Snow will host the Tax Day, along with HRM Financial Planning staff and a Chartered Accountant, who will be on hand to provide assistance for any area Seniors who may require help in filling out their income tax returns or need more information regarding tax relief and rebates.

“We received such a great response last year from our area Seniors who said what a great help it was to them, that we wanted to arrange the tax day for them again”, said Councillor Snow. She added, “Residents are also invited just to drop by to say hello and have a coffee”.
