Easter Weekend Transit Service

(Thursday, April 5, 2011) Halifax, NS – Metro Transit wishes to advise customers of bus and ferry service levels for the upcoming Easter Weekend.

Good Friday, April 6:
Conventional fixed-route bus, Access-A-Bus, and Beaver Bank Community Transit services will operate on holiday schedules. There will be no MetroLink, MetroX, Sambro or Porter’s Lake Community Transit bus service in operation. Alderney and Woodside ferry services will also not operate on Good Friday.

Saturday, April 7:
Buses and ferries will operate on regular Saturday schedules.

Sunday, April 8:
Buses will operate on holiday schedules. There will be no ferry service in operation.

Monday, April 9:
Buses, MetroLink, MetroX, Community Transit, Access-A-Bus and the Alderney & Woodside ferries will all operate on regular weekday schedules.
