Halifax Central Library Activity - tree removal scheduled

 

Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 (Halifax, NS) – Two trees at the corner of Spring Garden Road and Queen Street are scheduled to be removed from the site this week. The trees, both Austrian Pines, are scheduled to be removed to facilitate construction work on the new library.  

 

Development of the Halifax Central Library will include the installation of new landscaping throughout the property. The landscaping plan will include healthy new trees, vegetation and green space.

 

Construction activity on the Halifax Central Library is expected to be completed spring/summer 2014. More information about the Halifax Central Library is available at halifaxcentrallibrary.ca.
