Halifax Regional Municipality Holds Swearing In Ceremony
for Mayor and Council
(Friday, November 2, 2012) – Mayor-Elect Mike Savage and Members of Halifax Regional Council will be officially sworn in at a ceremony on Tuesday, November 6th, at the Spatz Theatre, Citadel High School. Doors to the theatre will be open to the public, beginning at 5:15 p.m. Members of the media are asked to be in place no later than 5:30 p.m.
An Honour Guard, consisting of representatives of the RCMP, the Halifax Regional Police and the Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service, will participate in the ceremony. Master of Ceremonies will be Mr. Richard Butts, Chief Administrative Officer for Halifax Regional Municipality. The Honourable Justice M. Heather Robertson will officially swear in Mayor-Elect Savage and Members of Regional Council.

Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Spatz Theatre, Citadel High School.
