Natal Day collection services

 

Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012 (Halifax, NS) – HRM wishes to advise there will be no regular municipal curbside collection of solid waste on Natal Day, Monday, Aug. 6, 2012. For HRM residents who would normally receive garbage, green cart and recyclables collection on Monday, Aug. 6, your alternate collection date will be the preceding Saturday, Aug. 4.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facilities, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant will be closed on Natal Day, Monday, Aug. 6, but will be open on Saturday, Aug. 4 with regular operating hours.

The HRM’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Saturday, Aug. 4 but will be open Saturday, Aug. 11 and Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
