Natural gas pipeline installation – Armdale Roundabout

 

The installation will affect the following areas:

Joseph Howe Drive (Clinton Avenue to Roundabout)

Chebucto Road (at approach and exit to Roundabout)

Quinpool Road (Roundabout to Civic 7137)

Herring Cove Road (Roundabout to Purcells Cove Road)

 

August 10, 2012 - A new natural gas main will be installed through the Armdale Roundabout this month. Work is tentatively scheduled to commence the week of August 13, 2012.  Pipe installation for this phase of the gas distribution expansion may last 3 to 4 weeks.  Restoration will follow the project as it progresses.

 

Access through the roundabout will be maintained at all times and no work will be completed between the peak traffic hours of 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.  The majority of this project will be constructed at night.

 

All work will be completed by Heritage Gas’s contractor, Sackville Trenching Limited.
