HRM Reminds Residents of Public Meetings on Boundary Submission
Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 – On Tuesday, Oct. 18, Halifax Regional Council submitted their recommendation on the Governance and District Boundary Review to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NSUARB). The NSUARB is scheduled to hold public meetings on the boundary submission starting on November 7.
Residents will have an opportunity to speak at that time, should they wish. To do so, individuals may make either written submissions or sign up to speak at the evening portion of the hearing, which will be held on Monday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
Written submissions of letters of comment or requests to speak must be made to the NSUARB by Monday, Oct. 31, 2011. Reference should be made to matter # MB-10-06 / M03816 Halifax Regional Municipality.
