HRM Winter Works Crews Continue Clean Up

  

Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011 – As of 4 p.m. all Priority 1 streets are complete. There will be some clean up overnight around the intersections.

  

Work on the Priority 2 streets is 75% complete and all are expected to be complete by mid-evening.

  

Priority 1 sidewalks are complete with some clean up at intersections to be done overnight. Priority 2 sidewalks are 90% complete and should be complete by early evening. Priority 3 sidewalks will be completed by tomorrow morning.

  

Bus stop clearing will begin overnight.

  

Crews will be pushing back in some areas on the Peninsula and vehicles left in the street may be subject to ticketing and or towing under Section 139 of the Motor Vehicle Act. Residents are urged to please keep their vehicles off the street during snow clearing operations.
