Public input requested for next phase of urban forest master plan work

Thursday, May 10 – A second draft of HRM’s Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) was finalized this month. The plan provides an overview of the issues and opportunities regarding sustainable urban forest management in HRM.

The document continues to be a work-in-progress and input from the public is required for the next phase of work. A series of three public workshops will take place over the next couple of weeks. The public will be asked to help determine priorities for the future implementation of the UFMP.
