Remembrance Day Solid Waste Collection Notice

 

(Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012) - Residents of HRM are reminded that regular municipal solid waste collection services will be provided on Monday, Nov. 12.  There will be no change in collection services due to Remembrance Day. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled for Monday, Nov. 12 will occur as usual.

 

The Otter Lake waste processing and disposal facilities, the two composting facilities and the HRM recycling plant will be open on Monday, Nov. 12 with regular operating hours.  The Otter Lake waste processing and disposal facilities will be closed on Remembrance Day, Sunday, Nov. 11.

 

The HRM’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) depot will be closed Saturday, Nov. 10 but will be open Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
