Road Construction – Barrington Street

Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 (Halifax, NS) – Road construction will take place on the section of Barrington Street directly under the MacKay bridge on Thursday, Oct. 25, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Traffic control will be in place, however, it is a two-lane road so motorists can expect delays as traffic will be stopped in one direction while it's allowed to flow the other way, and vice versa.

Motorists should take alternate routes where possible.

The work should be completed by 4 p.m. on Thursday, however, pending weather or unforeseeable delays, work will continue after 6 p.m. or into Friday morning if required.
