                  Road Work  on Lower Water Street at Sackville Street

Monday, June 25, 2012 - Halifax Water crews completed repairs to the sewer line on Lower Water Street over the weekend.

Crews are currently on site completing asphalt reinstatement. During reinstatement, the lane drop on Lower Water Street will be in place. Sackville Street will be closed from Bedford Row to Lower Water Street, and Lower Water Street will be reduced to one lane northbound.

Crews anticipate having full traffic flow restored by 4 p.m. today.

Halifax Water apologizes for any inconvenience this disruption may cause. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes prior to 4 p.m. today if possible.

Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
