Road Work - Main Street (Trunk #7)

 

Friday, August 17, 2012 (Halifax, NS) – HRM citizens are advised that road work is currently underway on Main Street (Trunk #7) from Wilfred Jackson Way to Ross Road to accommodate a left turn lane at Cherry Brook Road, Neilson Drive and Lake Major Road. The existing asphalt curb and sidewalk will be upgraded to concrete and the traffic signals at Lake Major Road and Main Street (Trunk #7) will be replaced. A turn lane will also be added from Ross Road at Main Street (Trunk #7).

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained inbound in the morning and outbound in the afternoon throughout the duration of this project. This project is anticipated to continue until November 30, 2012.

Motorists should expect delays. HRM regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
