HRM’s Annual Spring Weight Restrictions Lifted

 

(Monday, April 2, 2012) – HRM’s annual weight restrictions will be lifted as of today, April 2, 2012. The restrictions had been in place for heavy vehicles to reduce potential damage to municipally maintained streets and roads in the former County of Halifax.

 

The restrictions are consistent with those of the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (TIR). Details of vehicle restrictions can be found at: http://www.halifax.ca/snow/SpringWeightRestrictions.html.
