Waverley Bridge Closure – Rocky Lake Drive

 

Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 (Halifax, NS) – Heavy rainfall during the month of September has delayed the opening of the Waverley Bridge. The bridge, originally scheduled to open on October 15, will remain closed until the end of the week to complete construction.

Crews will continue to work on the bridge over the next few days and, provided weather cooperates and no unforeseen factors come into play, the expectation is to open on Friday, Oct. 19 at approximately 6 p.m.

This closure is in place to accommodate replacement of the bridge.

HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
