(Friday, May 5/2000)-- Although Halifax Regional Council has approved use of the 1999 Provincial Election lists for the Municipal General Election in October, enumerators may still be knocking on doors in many Districts throughout the Halifax Region.
When Council approved use of the list earlier this year, Councillors were advised that partial enumerations will be carried out in areas of new development within the municipality.
HRM Development Services has provided information to confirm areas developed since the Provincial Enumeration took place and attempts are now being made to capture voters in those areas to ensure they are placed on the HRM voters' list prior to the October election.
The partial enumeration process began this week and the deadline for completion is May 24th.

District 2 (Waverley/Dutch Settlement)
